Classic Style Leon

If you want to maintain at least some of RE Engine’s quality while achieving the kind of atmosphere seen in the OG games or render, I recommend using “Hybrid Face.”

I also think the model included in the “Hybrid Face Option” of this classic-style hair mod is probably a better choice than the default hair length.

It’s a hair model I made specifically for use with this mod, and after all, this is a “classic-style” Leon mod—so for me, it’s a must-have lol.

The option file for CrazyPotato’s “Classic RE4 Leon MOD Mesh” contains only the models from his mod. While it is compatible with DLC costumes, the hairstyles and other details have not been modified. (The same applies to the “Hybrid Face” DLC.)

In this mod, the CrazyPotato models are designed so that, by adjusting the eyebrow UVs, the eyebrow position closely matches that of his OG textures, even when using the vanilla textures.

This option is a relic of an old experiment I conducted while editing the textures, to see how the RE Engine textures would blend with CrazyPotato’s head model before I created the Hybrid Face.

The texture-only option file is a remnant from that time and has simply been carried over as-is into the Hybrid Face textures.
