Projectile and Missile Weapons Overhaul

The idea of the mod is to add 4 High End Tier projectile weapons, which can deal massive damage, by the same time challenging the player skills.

Damage, rate of fire, shot speed, range and energy consumption for these weapons have been rebalance, aiming to make each one unique in terms of playing experience.

New stats for the weapons are available at the screenshots.

This mod will conflict with any other mod which changes game vanilla weapons, and should also conflict with sp00n82's Buyable Pirate Lords Weapons mod.

Mod is meant to play in veteran difficulty, as old school or higher makes all weapons to behave as fixed weapons.

DETAILS ABOUT PROJECTILE WEAPONS CHANGES:

1. Gauss Gun becomes a real rail gun, which can be used to snipe enemies at distance.

2. Plasma Launcher will resemble Elite Dangerous' Plasma Accelerarator weapons, which means high damage for skilled pilots.

3. Flak Cannon has higher damage with bigger magazine.

4. The Gauss Gun, Plasma Launcher and Flak Cannon will now work as fixed weapons, having only 0. 5 degrees of aiming assistance, regardless of the chosen game difficulty.

5. Gatling Cannon has higher damage  with bigger magazine, retaining vanilla aim assist. Quite OP!

6. Costs to purchase these weapons have been reviewed.

These weapons are available for purchase in specific faction stations, up to you to find out.

This mod changes Flak Cannon and Gatling Cannon dropped by Pirate Lords.

By removing the Gauss Gun and Plasma Laucher from game's weapon rooster, other weapons had their stats rebalance to fill gaps left by this change. Meaning that weapons which had less relevance before, will become relevant now.

DETAILS ABOUT MISSILE WEAPONS CHANGES:

Mini Torpedos are part of Projectile Weapons, so they are included in the Projectile Weapons pack.

Mini Torpedos have been rebalanced, following the same line of Missile Weapons.

Missile weapons overhaul consists of changing these to work as mob control weapons, since they can take down weaker enemy fast, due to high damage output.

Missile will now deal much more damage, with a small reduction in payload.

Cost to refill missile weapons payload has been incredased significantly, so use them wisely.

I've provided two separated files, one for Projectile Weapons and Another for Missile Weapons, so you got to install both.

This makes updates easier in the future.

Installation:

The mod is basically a two . PAK files to be copied in the game folder.

Place the file inside your ...\Rebel Galaxy Outlaw\PAKS  folder.

To unistall, just delete the mod file(s) and your modules should revert to the vanilla ones.
