Alternative Bloom Effect

The game's Bloom affect is not that good as it floods the screen, creating a washed effect in the image.

This mod is basically SweetFX 2. 0, configured to add Bloom.

Installation:

Drop the contents of the zip file into your ...\Rebel Galaxy Outlaw  game folder.

When starting the game, turn game Bloom option off in the launcher, otherwise you will still have the game's vanilla Bloom.

To unistall, just delete the files files.

If you want to change the Bloom configuration, go to the ...\Rebel Galaxy Outlaw\SweetFX folder and open the SweetFX_settings.txt file with notepad.

Edit the following lines:

#define BloomThreshold      22. 50    // Threshold for what is a bright light (that causes bloom) and what isn't.

#define BloomPower           2. 250   // Strength of the bloom

#define BloomWidth           0. 1250  // Width of the bloom

- 1st line defines the range of the spectrum which will be affected by Bloom. 25. 00 means no Bloom, higher than 25. 00 givers darker image, lower than 25. 00 starts to add Bloom.

- 2nd line is basicaly bloom intensity.

- 3rd line didn't give much difference, so I do recommend to leave as it is.
