Ready or Not — Voice Commander

Talk to your SWAT team. They do what you say.

Instead of holding a key and hunting through the command wheel, you look at a door and say what you want:

"Blue team" · "Breach with kick and bang it"…and Blue stacks up, kicks the door, throws a flashbang, and clears the room.

You can order your team to:

• []Open doors — try the handle, kick, ram, shotgun the lock, or blow it with C2[/]

  []Throw ordnance — flashbangs, stingers, CS gas, 9-bangs, by hand or launcher[/]

  []Go on your command — queue an order and release the whole team with "go go go"[/]

  []Handle movement — stack up, move to, hold, fall in, take formations[/]

  []Deal with people — restrain suspects, yell at civilians, order them to stay put[/]

  []Handle the door — pick locks, check for traps, mirror under it, wedge it shut[/]

  []Exclusive Queue --- Queue up separate teams, and execute separately. [/]

Before you start

Ready or Not on Steam

This guide walks the Steam install. Other stores work too — you just have to find the game folder yourself.

VoiceAttack or VoiceMacro

Required, not optional — pick one. VoiceAttack is roughly $10 on Steam or from its site; VoiceMacro is free. A ready-made profile for each ships in the zip. See the note below.

Anything that already works for voice chat is fine.

Single-player only. Ready or Not has no SWAT AI in multiplayer, so there is nothing for the mod to command in a co-op match.Built for VR. This mod exists because reaching a command wheel in VR is awkward and talking isn't. It assumes you're on Ready or Not's default keybindings. It works perfectly well on flat screen too — see the note below if you've rebound your keys.If you play on flat screen

Most of the mod sits on

F13–F24keys that don't exist on a real keyboard and can't collide with anything. But a handful of commands use ordinary punctuation keys:
