📋 About This Mod
Fixes the base-game bug where SWAT AI stops dead and repeats "need you to move" instead of walking around the player.
Description
Your teammates path around furniture, but not around you. The navigation system doesn't know the player exists. This mod fixes that in layers: it enables the game's own dormant blocked-path recalculation (built by the devs, shipped disabled), registers you and your squad with Unreal's avoidance system so AI smoothly steer around you, and if someone still gets stuck, your position briefly becomes a nav obstacle so they walk a real path around you. If you actively refuse to let them pass, they complain once, then push past you.
No pak files, no asset edits, no AI behavior hooks, compatible with basically everything.
Installation instructions
[]Download and extract SwatPathAround_Bundle.[/]
[]Copy the contents (dwmapi.dll + the ue4ss folder) into your game's Win64 folder:
...\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64\

Limitations / aesthetic bugs:

[]Technical note: the shipped
main.luais compiled Lua 5. 4 bytecode, not plain text. This keeps one canonical, unmodified version in circulation — edited copies cause hard-to-debug coop desyncs. The mod makes no network calls; every hook it installs is visible in UE4SS.log. Readable source is kept by the author; if you need something changed, ask on the Posts tab. Modification and redistribution are not permitted.
