SWAT3 Element Leader Audio Mod brings you the ever focused and battle proven voice of SWAT 3's Element Leader.

Included are 201 voiceover files in total. The mapping is obviously not 100% 1 to 1 since there are voiceovers in Ready Or Not which are specific to that game. For example, there is no direct translation in SWAT 3 for voiceovers regarding Stingers, door jammers, kick breaching etc. For these cases I chose the 'next best thing' as an alternative, but sometimes I needed to resort to a generic alternative. One of my goals was to not allow any original Ready Or Not voiceovers for the ones tagged "CALL" in the "SWATJudge" folder. The only exception are the moaning/grunting sounds where it's not really possible to tell who is making them.

Furthermore I applied a fair amount of audio editing to some SWAT 3 voiceovers, as I needed to adjust them to achieve a better fit for Ready Or Not. This includes cutting out, copying and combining some parts where necessary. I think this turned out quite well and it should not be degrading the experience in any way. I even added two "new" voiceovers that were missing from Ready Or Not's default collection. These are SCDeployChemlight_0.wav

and SCDoReportTarget_0.wav, which are both working fine now.

SWAT 3 players should feel right at home going on a mission with this legendary voice.

Obviously I do not own the rights to any of the original SWAT 3 voiceovers - they are owned by Sierra Entertainment.

In conclusion, SWAT 3 has a special place in my gaming heart and it would be awesome if it could live on to some extent through Ready Or Not.

Installation:

1. Make a backup of the original "SWATJudge" folder (located in .. Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\VO).

2. Open the "sound_files" folder and copy the contents to this folder:

.. Steam\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\VO\SWATJudge

(When prompted, choose to replace the original files)

Uninstallation:

1. Simply copy the original files from your backup to the "SWATJudge" folder, replacing the mod files.
