Description

Ever play Ready or Not and think, "I really wish Void would make a remaster of Republic Commando using this game engine."

So that is what I am doing. So far I have the Beta versions of the armor and weapons. This is a very slippery slope, I started with weapons and armor; now I am trying to get Jawas on Rust Belt.

Drop into readyornot/content/paks 

HUD may interfere with any mods that change the goggles/nvgs

Main features

This mod has 2 .pak files, the armor and HUD. The armor originally replaced the SWAT 99 outfit, but I converted into an add-on. There are no gloves, I recommend using the LSPD assault gloves.

The HUD can be equipped with the anti-flash goggles. The HUD pak replaces the goggles overlay, the meshes for the GPNVG and the goggles (it makes them super tiny inside the players head but still keeps the effects). Damage effects are also changed to resemble screen effects from the Republic Commando game (WIP).  I have been using a mod that makes the goggles work as a gas mask on top of this, I will link it as a soft requirement. 

Requirements

No requirements, but I recommend using the mod that gives goggles gas mask protections. 

What's next

I might do some skins and gear addons. Like various ammo pouches.

If anyone has any models or assets they own and would let me use for future mods link them in the comments! I am looking for droids, aliens, and other characters.

I want to do voices, I have all of the audio files from Republic Commando, however I do not have permission to use them in a public mod... 

If anyone knows how to get the HUD working to display things, let me know!

Also there are still some minor rigging/clipping issues that are a work in progress.

The armor is from Abel at Sketchfab, he has some awesome models (especially Halo ones)
