📋 About This Mod
First of all we ALL need to thank the "No crack for AI" mod since IA is really using crack on vanilla 1. 0. But I think they exaggerated in some values, making them too easy or too unrealistic. This mod is something to make the gameplay between vanilla game and No Crack for AI.
Goal of this mod: Make progressive use of force (I think americans call it as "use of force continuum") more doable without having zombified AI or aimbot AI. So I tried to use more realistic values to reaction time to achieve that.
It's difficult to find that middle ground, so I'm counting on the reports to work on a second version. Understand that untrained suspects naturally have different reactions than those who are trained in the game. So expect to notice a difference between missions against trained and untrained suspects.
Instructions: Just extract the file to "Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks" folder. It's not compatible with any other gameplay mod.
Here some of the changes:
· Suspect Accurracy have a real change here. It works like this: 0. 0f = Perfectly Accurate, 5+ = Can't really hit anything beyond 10m. Vanillavalue is 2, mod was using 5, the maximum value. So enemy will basically never hit you after 10m, which is pretty unrealistic and make the game way too easy. So i changed to 2. 5, which is good term between vanilla and crack mod. So you will have more firefights than vanilla, but now you have chance to be hit;
· Bombtimer reduced to vanilla, didn't see a point to change it;
· Unarlerted, Suspicius and Alerted system was changed to vanilla values. Again didn't see a point to change it;
· Someminor changes in suspect accuracy while they're running;
· They change stun duration to 15s, which is way too much. I keep it on vaniila. 8s;
· Samefor beanbag shotgung. Reduced to vanilla value. 4s is enough;
· They increased a lot of values that change the suspect morale to make them less agressive. Some values I changed to vanilla and others a mid term betwen them;
· Reactiontime when suspect heard something was way too low on mod, changed to 300ms. For reference F1 drivers react in something between 170 and 200ms to light;
· Suspect reaction time when they suffer some damage was way too fast on mod. Increased from 15ms to 200ms;
· Some minor weaks on civilian reaction times that doesnt change much;
· Swat reaction times increased to human values. All 200ms now. They have changed some values to 0ms;
· Reduced swat reaction times added per 20 meters to vanilla value. No need to change;
· Decreased firerate values for both Swat and Suspects. Just a little to make the firefight more realistic without swat and suspects spam 500 bullets in 1ms.
· Cover System for AI was
