The KSG Shotgun is a pump action, unsupported shotgun launched by Kel Tec in late 2010, primarily used in military and civilian defense applications.
The gun adopts a double tube shaped magazine parallel design, with each magazine accommodating 7 rounds and a total capacity of 14+1 rounds. The magazine can be manually switched through the feeding selection lever above the grip. The gun receiver is made of hardened steel welded together, and the gun components are similar to the Remington M870. The handguard is made of fiberglass reinforced nylon material and equipped with a locking device. The barrel length is 470 millimeters, the total length of the gun is 663 millimeters, and the weight is 3. 85 kilograms, which meets the US civilian shotgun control standards. The operation method is consistent with the traditional pump action shotgun, with the shell throwing direction downward and the hand movement direction opposite to the South African Neostead shotgun. The front end of the gun barrel is equipped with a sling ring, which supports the installation of various muzzle devices and has an effective range of about 300 meters.
