Kalashnikov AK-103 Replaces SLR47 (DARK WATERS)

First of all, I want to thank VoltsCorp, ChanMK2, Aspid Zeus, Migi and all the other discord members who helped me in the process of making this mod. It would be impossible without them being patient enough to answer all the dumb questions from a noob like me.

Mod Description:

IMO the vanilla SLR47 is ugly asf. It's way too short for my likings and doesn't have the characteristics of an AK that makes it beautiful. Therefore, I decided to replace it with an actual AK. The trigger, the fireselector and the bolt all have the correct animations, but the mag release doesn't since the model doesn't have a separated vertex group for it. The recoil is reduced and the fire rate is increased for better competitiveness. Also, there's the option to use 7. 62*51mm NATO rounds if anyone wants massive destruction. I tried to add the burst fire mode but the fire rate is buggy and unstable, so sometimes the gun fires twice and sometimes three times.

The AK-103 is an assault rifle designed by Russian small arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov. It is an AK-100 derivative of the AK-74M that is chambered for the 7. 62x39mm M43 cartridge, similar to the AKM. The AK-103 can be fitted with a variety of sights, including night vision and telescopic sights, plus a knife-bayonet or a grenade launcher like the GP-34. Newer versions can fit Picatinny rails, allowing more accessories to be mounted. It uses plastic components where possible instead of wood or metal, with such components being the pistol grip, handguards, folding stock and depending on the type, the magazine.

To install this mod:

1. Download and unzip the compressed file.

2. Drag the .pak file (not the folder) into C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks, or D:\ depending on the disk you installed the game.

3. Launch the game. This mod is a replacement mod and not an add-on. Therefore, it doesn't require the item asset loader.

Q: Why is the gun not appearing?

A: You have another mod that replaces the SLR47. Search for it and remove it from the pak folder before restarting your game.

Q: Why are there no scopes for this weapon?

A: The model doesn't have rail extensions, and therefore it is impossible to attach sights. Making them floating in the air is dumb asf so I removed the scope class as a whole.

Q: Can you make this mod into an add-on instead of replacing SLR47?

A: I wish to, but as for now, idk how to add additional weapons. If anyone wants to teach me how to do so, that'll be appreciated. But for the time being, the answer is no. I'm new to modding and there are a lot of things I still don't know.
