Half-Life Alyx Sound Overhaul Project (Abandoned)

Half-Life Alyx Sound Overhaul Project (HLASOP) Aims to replace most of the voicelines from RON with equivalents from Half-Life Alyx and/or Half-life 2 if suitable enough. We will be prioritizing Half-Life Alyx though.

Currently the mod is still under heavy development, but we have some files that are already ready for download and use, even if they are rather barebones.

We cannot guarantee regular updates to this mod but we are actively working on it on our freetime.

Finished main files

- JUDGE Ordinal replacement

- Temporary grunt voicelines for all AI Swat

- Overwatch Dispatch TOC replacement.

Finished Optional Files

- JUDGE Grunt replacement

To be done files

- Most, if not all swat AI members have their own unique replacement (Charger, APF, Civil protection)

- Ambient sounds

- Anything else i forgot to list.

(INSTALLATION)

Firstly to replace SWATJUDGE voicelines, make a backup of your original one in the game files located in the file path below. Once that is done remove ALL VOICELINES for JUDGE in the game files, not the one you backed up. Do not modify the backup. After that is done just drag and drop the necessary files to SWATJudge file.

Move the contents of the zip file to:  Steam/SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\VO\SWATJudge.

For the optional TOC Dispatch replacement, do the same as said before, backup your TOC file, then remove the contents of the TOC file from the game files and move the zip contents to

Steam/SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\VO\TOC

For the Grunt voicelines for all SWAT AI, backup your SWATA 1 2 and 3 SWATB, 1,2,3. SWATH 1,2,3. and SWATW 1,2,3.

Then remove the original voicelines from said files and drag and drop the ones provided in the Grunt AI ZIP file.
