Half-Life 2 Metrocop Voice Lines

This mod replaces all SWAT team members with voice lines from the Metrocops/MPF/CCA/whatever-you-wanna-call-'em voice lines!

This mod was semi-difficult to make. Not because of the actual development of the mod, but because there's not a whole lot of 'direct conversion' for a lot of the SWAT voice lines (for example: there's no Metrocop voice line for 'deploying flashbang' or 'check for traps', so I had to do my best with finding an appropriate voice line which made the most sense or whatever fit best).

Eventually, I'd like to release a mod which completely overhauls the voice lines in Ready or Not; civilians and suspects would have citizen/rebel voice lines from HL2, TOC would have Overwatch voicelines from HL2, and include the option for both Metrocop and Overwatch/OTA soldier voice lines for SWAT.

This mod does has some hiccups for now; some commands/actions don't have a voice line associated with them, so you and/or your teammates don't say anything in-game. I want to fix this as best as I can, but the Metrocop voice lines are limited due to the lack of 'direct conversion'. I don't want to mix Overwatch soldier voice lines, as I want this mod to be purely Metrocop voice lines, but this may change down the road.

INSTALLATION

Installing is very easy. Just follow the steps below:

- Manually download the mod.

- Open the .zip file. You will see several folders, such as SWATJudge, SWATSwan, SWATEli, etc. These are each of the voice line folders for each of the SWAT team members. You will be using the folders inside the .zip file to replace the original SWAT voicelines (see the next step below).

- In your File Explorer, navigate to: \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\VO

- Inside of the 'VO' folder you just navigated to, determine which SWAT members you want to have metrocop voicelines. If you want all SWAT members to have metrocop voicelines, then COPY all five SWAT folders and PASTE them somewhere else on your PC (in-case you ever wanna swap off the metrocop voicelines). Then, drag and drop all five SWAT folders from the .zip file into the 'VO' folder. If you only want SWATJudge to have metrocop voicelines, repeat the steps above, except leave every other SWAT folder inside 'VO' alone and only copy and delete the original SWATJudge folder.

- Boom, you're done. Load up the game and have fun!
