Bring ECOTI-inspired thermal fusion to your night vision in Ready or Not.

Highlight characters with soft, glowing outlines or switch to filled thermal silhouettes while keeping the surrounding NVG scene visible. Thermal highlights automatically match your goggles’ phosphor setting: pale green for green phosphor and white for white phosphor.

  []Native NVG controls and frames: raising your goggles hides both night vision and thermal.[/]

  []Depth-aware highlights: scene-depth checks help suppress thermal coverage behind opaque surfaces.[/]

  []Mission-transition cleanup: restores thermal rendering state when leaving or changing missions.[/]

  []Customizable keybinds: Edit config.lua to change default keys to whatever you want.[/]

  Controls

  Default Key

  N

  Lower or raise NVGs using the game’s default binding. If rebound, use your chosen NVG key.

  Ctrl + Home

  Toggle thermal on/off.

  Ctrl + End

  Switch between Outline and Full Thermal.

  Thermal starts in off mode with Outline mode selected. Thermal power and mode selection are remembered while raising and lowering your goggles. Thermal resets off after mission transitions.

  Requirements

  • []Ready or Not for Windows.[/]

    []A working UE4SS installation (tested with UE4SS experimental-latest build).[/]

    []NVGs equipped in your loadout.[/]

  The download includes the combined PAK and required controller script; both are required for full operation.

  (Note: PAK works by itself and provides adaptive NVG and IR laser adjustments; UE4SS script is required for thermal)

  Tested on RoN 1. 5. 2, local Steam build 24942528, using UE4SS experimental-latest build . Other UE4SS versions have not been verified.

  UE4SS is not included. The script and UE4SS are necessary for thermal highlights and controls; installing only the PAK does not activate thermal.

  Installation

  Install PAK (Manual)

  • []Click Files tab[/]

    []Click Manual download on the .pak file[/]

    []Extract it.[/]

    []Copy/move .pak file to \Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks[/]

  Install PAK (Vortex)
  • []Click Files tab[/]

    []Click Mod manager download[/]

  Install Script (to get thermal action funtime)
  • []Click Manual download[/]

    []Extract[/]

    []Place entire contents into \Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods[/]

  Install UE4SS (do this before you install the script if you don't have ue4ss installed already)
  • []Go to game directory: \Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64[/]

    []Create a folder called ue4ss[/]

    []Click this link.[/]

    []Scroll down to Assets box. Click UE4SS_v3. 0. 1.zip to download it.[/]

    []Extract it.[/]

    []Copy everything from the extracted UE4SS_v3. 0. 1 folder into the new ue4ss folder you created in the game directory.[/]

    []End result should have a ue4ss folder with a path that looks like this:

    D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods[/]
