Configure western-region restrictions and mission-blip visibility for Arthur's Story Mode free roam. The selectable English/Chinese keyboard menu offers six region groups: Great Plains including Blackwater, Tall Trees, Gaptooth Ridge, Rio Bravo, Cholla Springs and Hennigan's Stead.

Installation

Requires RDR2 PC 1. 0. 1491. 50, ScriptHookRDR2 and an ASI loader. Put FrontierWesternFreeRoam.asi beside RDR2.exe. Preserve your existing FrontierWesternFreeRoam.ini when updating. Do not run the superseded ArthurFreeRoam plugin alongside it.

Controls and settings

F11 opens/closes; Up/Down selects, Enter toggles a setting or opens a page, Backspace/Esc returns. The second home-menu entry is the individual mission list. Tab on a mission clears its individual override so the group default applies. Menus and selections are remembered; confirmation prompts are not restored.

Each region has separate controls for story wanted restrictions, town lockdowns, red map shading and ordinary crime pursuit suppression. The four New Austin areas additionally offer invisible-sniper suppression. The master switch releases the state controlled by the plugin while retaining individual choices. Reset-default and disable-all actions require confirmation.

Mission entries control only display modifiers on existing story/RCM mission blips. They do not finish, delete or prevent the triggering of a mission, and do not change characters or disease events. Completed or unavailable missions disappear from the list when their native blips disappear; saved preferences remain for earlier saves. Shop, animal, plant and other mods' custom blips are outside this feature.

Nine additional western destinations can also be enabled individually in the native camp fast-travel list. They affect the next generated native list; the separate F2 Frontier Fast Travel menu is independent.

Behavior and limits

Gameplay changes apply only to Arthur outside active missions and pause during missions. Settings can still be edited while effects are suspended. Defaults enable western exploration and suppression and hide Micah/Downes mission icons; review the settings if you want ordinary pursuit to remain active.

Disabling a region restores the captured restriction bits under the plugin's control. It does not manufacture a new wanted level, recreate crimes already cleared or undo historical save changes. Naturally unlocked regions are not forcibly locked. Shared state-level flags are handled according to the selected subregion; this is not a guarantee of compatibility with every other region/wanted-state mod. Buildings or services that depend on story scripts are not automatically created.

Removal

Use the menu's master switch to release active effects before saving, then close the game and remove the ASI. Keep the INI if you may reinstall. For complete rollback of already saved story state, use your own earlier save.

任务功能只隐藏/恢复已有主线和 RCM 图标，不删除任务、不改进度、不阻止触发，不改变疾病剧情；已结束任务不因旧配置残留。另可按地点补充原生营地旅行九处西部目的地，与独立 F2 菜单分开。功能仅亚瑟非任务状态应用，任务期间暂停。

默认开启西部解锁、普通通缉与狙击抑制，并隐藏米迦/唐斯图标，可按需修改。关闭控制不会制造新通缉或重建已清除犯罪，也不会强锁本来已解锁地区。没有强开剧情建筑和全部商店脚本。完整撤销已保存的历史变化需读取早先存档；卸载前可先关总开关、正常保存，再退出游戏移除 ASI。

Choose one download. Close the game and replace only the matching ASI; keep your existing configuration, logs and saves. The chosen binary controls this mod's UI language, not a player INI language setting. Both builds preserve the original hotkeys and behavior.

English menus cover all six region groups, settings, confirmations, statuses and pagination. A fixed catalog supplies 233 native English mission names regardless of game language. Unknown/unnamed labels use an English Story/Stranger mission number; FIN3 and TL21 were absent from the archived English table. This affects labels only, never mission state or icon identity. Native camp travel remains the game's own UI and language. Preserve your existing INI when updating.

Build, language and logic tests run offline; this release has not been deployed or tested in a new game session. Images are source-based previews, not in-game screenshots. Native game screens keep the game's own language. <
