📋 About This Mod
Weapon Flourishes
This mod allows you to perform various tricks with your weapons with the press of a button. It also includes carry animations. The mod also includes one left handed longarm carry, two right hand longarm carry and one right hand pistol carry animation.
You can either trigger animations manually or have them happen automatically when you're not in a combat for a certain amount of time.
AutoAnimationPlay=0 is set to disabled by default.
The mod also includes one left handed longarm carry, two right hand longarm carry and one right hand pistol carry animations. These are looping animation that won't be canceled unless you aim or get into a combat situation (this only happens if AllowInCombat is disabled).
To trigger these hold the trigger button.
If you enable this setting in the config file. Your unholster animation will be swapped with Bill's. Your rifle will also be holstered in a different position that will fit the animation. Every transition animation is set manually to make sure it is as smooth as it can be.
You can use this feature with this mod's that add rifle holsters to the back, but it will still look normal without them.

Put WeaponFlourishes.asi and WeaponFlourishes.ini and "lml" folder to your Red Dead Redemption 2 folder. "lml" folder is needed for animations to load. I think other online content loaders I already load them. If they do you can remove the Weapon Flourishes lml folder.

- Recently updated (June 2026), so it's likely still maintained
⚠️ Cons
- Description is vague on which weapons and animations are included
- Potential compatibility issues with other animation or script mods
- May not work with all weapon types or modded weapons
For roleplayers and show-offs who want their character to look cool while carrying weapons. Also for players who want a bit of extra flair in their gameplay. Skip if you're looking for combat overhauls or gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
