📋 About This Mod
In the heat of battle, there's no time to think - only react. Whether falling from a ledge, diving for cover, or knocked off your feet, a true gunslinger doesn't wait to hit the ground before returning fire. This lightweight mod tries to remove the restrictions of when you can use the ol' six shooter or rifle.
This is a very simple mod I made in a manner of hours, it's not meant to be groundbreaking in any way, but hopefully provide some fun.

This mod idea came to mind when I remembered how Niko could shoot while falling from skyscrapers in GTA IV. So I thought, why not try bringing that back in RDR2?
Due to how Rockstar handles weapons during ragdoll/falling, longarms are automatically hidden (removed from the player’s hands). Because of this currently only one-handed firearms like pistols, revolvers, and sawed-offs can be shot while falling or ragdolling - more on this below.
While falling, using single-action revolvers only lets you fire one bullet due to the character not physically being able to cock the hammer.

You can now shoot any weapon while jumping, there are no longarm restrictions as they do not get hidden during a jump. Jumping and shooting with a two-handed shotgun will cause you to slip and fall.

One thing that annoyed me for the longest time is how you can shoot out your enemies long arms and even knock off their side arms using melee attacks, but the pistols and revolvers of every enemy outside of a very few scripted encounters are glued to their hands, with bullets making no impact, unlike RDR1 where you could disarm anyone. This feature hopes to properly address this issue.
