📋 About This Mod

This is not as complex as some of the other euphoria mods already out there but it gets the job done.

I have been trying to find a balance between realism and something that's not completely boring. I also created a new fatal ground injury animation (seizure) which provides more flexibility for various killed/collapsed positions. There are a lot of other changes, such as ground friction (rolling down hill), collision reactions, melee combat, etc.

This has been specifically tailored for my mod 1899 Firearms where each cartridge has a specific power that which be reflected in the NPCs reaction.

Still in BETA so expect some wonky animations.

Popular with 787 endorsements and over 25,000 downloads

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 787 endorsements and 25k downloads
  • Adds a layer of physical realism that vanilla Skyrim lacks
  • Lightweight mod that doesn't overhaul the whole game

⚠️ Cons

  • Last updated in 2022, so may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim patches
  • Ragdoll physics can be unpredictable and sometimes look janky
  • May conflict with other combat or animation mods that alter character behavior
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim players who want more visceral, physical combat reactions and enjoy watching enemies tumble realistically. If you're into immersion and don't mind occasional physics quirks, this is for you. Skip if you prefer stable, scripted animations over dynamic ragdolls.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 5 minutes

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Make sure to load GRIM after other combat mods to ensure its ragdoll effects take priority.
  • Test with a few different enemy types to see how the physics behave; you might need to tweak settings if it feels too chaotic.
  • If you use a mod manager, enable GRIM and check for conflicts with animation mods like FNIS or Nemesis.
