And then, outside a few missions, free roam barely lets you use them.
Banks of the West turns banks into real gameplay locations. Deposit your cash. Withdraw money. Earn daily interest. Then come back with a bandana, a revolver, dynamite, and bad intentions.
This is a banking and bank robbery overhaul for Red Dead Redemption 2 free roam, built around risk, money, law, death, witnesses, vaults, safes, cooldowns and consequences.

THE FANTASY
You walk into Valentine with clean hands and dirty money.
You put dollars in the bank.
You come back at night with BLOOD on your coat and GOLD in your eyes.
The clerk looks up.
You can do this loud.
You can do this quiet.
You can force the vault open with fear, dynamite, or patience.
The witnesses may run.
The law may hear.
The bounty may follow you across the state.
And if you die with too much heat on you, the authorities may take more than the cash in your pockets.
Smoke. Screaming. Shotgun locks. Federal pressure. A vault door swinging open in the dark.

CORE FEATURES
◆ FUNCTIONAL BANKING
Deposit, withdraw, earn daily interest, and use banks as real money locations in free roam. Bank opening hours are configurable and default to 6 AM to midnight. Banking can be disabled.
◆ FULL BANK ROBBERIES
All supported banks can be robbed. Threaten clerks, open gates, break into vaults, crack safes, steal the loot and escape the law.
◆ VAULTS WITH MULTIPLE APPROACHES
Force the clerk to open the vault, blast it with dynamite, or crack it silently with a code minigame.
◆ SAFES WITH REAL OPTIONS
Safes can be opened with dynamite or silent cracking. Small safes are easier, medium safes are harder, and large safes are the hardest.
◆ WITNESSES, LAW AND CONSEQUENCES
Robberies use custom witness and crime report logic. Silent robberies matter. Death, surrender, bounty and bank balance systems make money more dangerous to carry and more painful to lose.
◆ CONFIGURATION AND LANGUAGE SUPPORT
Bounties, loot, cooldowns, bank hours, Saint Denis loot boosts, banking, death penalties, UI elements, PNA support, language and debug logging are configurable through the ini.
