📋 About This Mod

Improves MacFarlanes ranch to fit the aesthetic of 1907, getting rid of plotholes and overall improving the look of the area.

RDR2 was left with an unfinished, mostly 1899 version of the RDR1 map for Epilogue exploration in 1907. This bothered me, so I fixed up one of my favorite locations, MacFarlanes ranch. HUGE thanks to GuiCORLEONEx794 for the barn, and thanks to SomeClassyToast for furnishing the stockade with props.

I heavily recommend pairing this with Project New Austin 1907

(Project New Austin uses the vegetationmodifier.meta file, which conflicts with the ranch. If you don't delete the Project NA one, there's a good chance you will have grass covering important areas on the ranch)

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

It's a focused fix for a specific area, appealing to players who want more authenticity in the post-game. With 213 endorsements and 9,519 downloads, it's a niche but appreciated addition.

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Community-approved with 213 endorsements and nearly 10k downloads—clearly hits a nerve for RDR2 fans.
  • Targets a specific gap in the base game: the unfinished New Austin for the Epilogue, so it's a meaningful fix.
  • Lightweight scope—just one ranch—so it's easy to install and unlikely to bloat your game.

⚠️ Cons

  • Only covers MacFarlane's Ranch, so other unfinished New Austin locations remain untouched.
  • Last updated in May 2023, so it might not be compatible with the latest game patches or other mods.
  • As a map mod, it could conflict with other mods that alter the same area or terrain.
🎯 Is This For You?
For RDR2 players who love the Epilogue and want New Austin to feel more complete in 1907. If you're a completionist who notices the little details, this is a must-try. Skip it if you're looking for gameplay overhauls or changes to other regions.
