If you need to change key bindings, please subscribe to Improved Input Config: Extended Introduction The Tinker is a strange individual who lives apart from his own kind. As a product of genetic engineering derived from a Slugcat, he possesses partial genes from both spiders and Slugcats, granting him the abilities of both. He can fire silk threads to help him swing between structures for rapid movement, and also construct silk bridges to cross treacherous terrain. These silk threads can also help him temporarily fend off predators—though only temporarily, as the fragile silk won't hold up for long. Additionally, since all spiders in the game live in the Shaded Citadel, the Tinker also has night vision. All of the above abilities are subject to addition or removal with future updates. Controls It is recommended that you change your movement keys to WASD, jump to Spacebar, and the pickup key to E. This will help you play as the Tinker with ease. Firing Silk Threads Right Click (Short Press): Fire a grappling hook-like silk thread for swinging and rapid movement. The aiming direction depends on your cursor position. Right Click (Long Press): Enter Bridge Mode. Left Click (When holding a weapon): Throw your held weapon toward the cursor position. You can now adjust whether spear throwing follows the mouse cursor via the Remix Menu. Bridge Mode Hold Right Click to enter Bridge Mode, then use the mouse to select connection points, and confirm bridge placement with Left Click.
