Keeps stored or retired locomotives out of Railroader's on-screen Engine Roster without selling, scrapping, renaming, renumbering, or otherwise changing them.

Features

- Hide any owned locomotive from the Engine Roster.

- Hide or unhide a locomotive directly from its Inspector's Equipment tab.

- Locomotives remain physically present and fully visible in Company > Equipment.

- Their road names, numbers, crews, condition, AI orders, and save-game data are untouched.

- Pressing Select for a hidden locomotive in Company > Equipment automatically unhides it.

- Unhide locomotives individually or restore all of them at once.

- Hidden status persists between sessions using the locomotive's internal ID.

- Standalone: no locomotive packs, map mods, Strange Customs, or other gameplay mods required.

Installation

Drag the downloaded ZIP onto `Railloader.exe`. Alternatively, extract the included `Mods` folder into your Railroader installation directory.

Compatibility

The mod only filters the list passed to the vanilla Engine Roster UI. It does not alter the global rolling-stock collection or Equipment list, making it compatible with custom locomotive and map/content mods.

Uninstalling

Delete `Railroader/Mods/EngineRosterHider`. No locomotives or save data are removed; every engine will appear in the roster again when the filter mod is absent.

Please include your `railloader.log` when reporting a problem.

AI was used for making this mod. I only did this as I myself do not have any coding experience and wanted/needed this function in my game. The only reason I decided to upload this AI-created mod, is because I believe other players could/will find this useful as well.
