PLW E2

The London, Brighton & South Coast Railway Class E2 0-6-0 was designed as a replacement to the aging E1 type, initially built for short goods and heavy shunting. The class was trialed in push-pull operations, but were found to have insufficient fuel capacity for the journeys. Later members of the class were built with extended side tanks for this reason.

Found to be of mixed success, the railway had a complete roster of 9 locomotives, with the last being withdrawn by 1963.

While No particular era of E2 has been modelled, many features throughout their various stages of life have been brought into the model itself.

Known Issues:

- Sight Glass Normals on Both Models

- Bell Issues on Short Tank Variant

Quirks (things that just have to be dealt with / Game Constraints)

- Water Fill point is located between the dome and funnel

The E2 has been a long time project going through several iterations before landing on the current.
