New York Central Livery Pack

(IMPORTANT!)

amber's Drumhead mod is not currently compatible with legotrainman's Logos & Decal mod, or any livery made with it, including this one. If you have the drumhead mod, remove it, or else the coaches and observation cars won't appear in the buy/spawn menus.

The Drumhead mod is no longer required, as the herald is now built-in. Also, please remove v1. 3 before updating, or it will cause issues, namely permanent NYC lettering on the observation car. Anyone who reports this "bug" will be redirected here!

"Newwwwwww York Central! Rail and Machine, Fire, Smoke, and Steam!"

After hours of work and learning how to mod, it's finally here! A livery pack for the early heavyweight Pullmans, the baggage car, and the Osgood-Bradley steel coach based on the Water Level Route's striking Two-Tone Grey.

The coaches and observation are all namable, but the baggage car and commuter coach are not (I'm pretty sure most railroads didn't name theirs anyway. If enough request it, I may add it later in an update).

This pack includes a version without the New York Central lettering, so you can letter the cars however you wish!

It's also colorable, meaning that even though it was designed for the Two-Tone Grey, you can choose whatever combination you want! For those that do want the Grey, however, here are the hex codes.

Passenger cars:

-Body: Dark Grey, #484848

-Stripe: Light Grey, #707070

-Lining: Pure White, #FFFFFF (not needed, as White is easy enough to select, but here it is anyway)

Diesels(Lightning Stripe):

-Body: Thunder Grey, #2e2b2c (I see what you did there, NYC)

-Stripes: All default for the white and grey, though I will make the stripes colorable in the next update.

Diesels(Cigar Band/Freight Black)

-Body: literally just BLACK, #000000

I also recommend using some good ol' HTML formatting for the custom names on the coaches. Here are the two I know:

"<cspace=>": Determines the spacing of the letters

"<size=>": Self-explanatory

Shoutout to legotrainman for his Logos & Deco mod and the major help with bug fixing. He's a great guy and one who knows his stuff when it comes to making these liveries work. Without him, none of this would've been possible!

And a shoutout to amber for the NYC Drumhead model! Originally part of her own mod aptly named "drumhead", she offered to send the drumhead by itself for use on the observation, provided I give her deserved credit. Getting to use her custom drumhead took the mod that extra mile. Thanks, amber!
