Arcade & Attica Railroad Coach

The Arcade & Attica Railroad (ARA) is a shortline railroad in western New York, spanning about 14 miles between Arcade and North Java. It operates both freight service and seasonal passenger excursions using vintage diesel locomotives and historic coaches. Founded in 1917, it’s one of the last remaining short lines in the region to continuously operate since its inception. Alongside several varying GE centercab diesels is an ALCO RS-3m and an Alco 2-8-0 consolidation.

In real life, the ARA utilizes steel ex-DL&W Boonton coaches. While we do not have these in Railroader, nor currently a mod that adds them in, we do have these base game open platform wood coaches that aren't terribly far away from the Boontons (just squint a little). For anybody who is a fan of the ARA, you can now have the look of their classic passenger cars on your own railroads. Since the cars are not the exact real life prototype though, this is technically a fictional scheme.
