📋 About This Mod
Soft-disables the guns for NPC squadmates in Hitman (Comic & Dip) and K9 (B through D). May potentially affect Conquest (untested).
NOTE THAT WEAPONS FOR NON-SQUAD NPCS (E. G. ASSASSIN, GUNSEL, STARDUST) ARE NOT DISABLED. GUNS ARE ALSO NOT DISABLED, but they don't seem to do damage/get kills.
It might be possible to do this (or to change/remove them from the mission), but it would require direct editing of the missions which would break compatibility with a lot of other mods. This combined with the fact that the majority of NPC kills come from your squadmates and not poor Stardust (or even big 4 plane flights like Gunsel or Assassin, surprisingly) means that it's not necessary given the scope of this mod.
COMPATIBILITY:
This mod should be compatible with all others that don't change BlueprintsAIBehaviourSquadronAI.uasset/uexp. As far as I know there aren't any (current patch) mods on the Nexus that do this so it should be compatible with everything.

I got tired of seeing them snipe Air Cruisers out from under me constantly. For a real reason, there's a handful of missions in the game where there's a ton of good voicework you rarely if ever get to hear because the missions autocomplete themselves with the sheer weight of friendly NPCs you get, plus your darling support after all. Notable examples are the entire run from Homestead to Sirens of Defeat (M03, M04, M05 of basegame), Pillars of Communication (by far the worst affected by it, which is surprising when it's kind of just Homestead but harder), as well as Home Invasion and Mousetrap from F59.
Initially I wanted to disable all friendly damage and move the game to something closer to Ace Combat, where with the exception of Pixy and occasionally Edge, maybe Shamrock, your friendly NPCs are decorative compared to PW where they're capable of completing half the mission for you even on Mercenary. After finding out that I could only change parameters for squaddie AI, I decided to do it and test, and the results were almost exactly what I wanted. The only real problem I have now is the realization that every single mission in the base campaign except for like, 4? 5? give you at minimum 2 non-squad friendly NPCs. These NPCs aren't anywhere near as powerful as Hitman 2 or 3, but they will occasionally get kills so be aware of that if you're playing basegame and see blue in your killfeed. On the other hand Frontline 59 gives you perfect control over its missions since the only non-squad air allies you get are PK Steel.
The mod works by changing the cooldown on their "Shoot" AI task from 1 second/0/5 seconds to 600/900 seconds (there's one value for player and one value for others, not sure how it works for friendly NPCs that don't shoot at the player). So if you wait for around 10-15 minutes in a mission you should
