The Javan rhino is the smaller cousin of the Indian rhino, the Javan rhino differs from its cousin mainly for its smaller size and horn, its hooked lip, and the plates on its neck and elbows.

Sad facts about the Javan rhino:

- if you buy 74 Javan rhinos in the game you'll have more javan rhinos in your zoo than there are left in the wild.

- the Javan rhino was in the past the rhino with the most widespread range

- at present day the Javan rhino is the rhino with the smallest range

- the Javan rhino was known as Sunda rhino before remaining only on Java

- the last Javan rhino in Vietnam was killed for its horn in 2010

- female Javan rhinos dont have horns, yet they are killed by poachers regardless

- whoever made up the belief that rhino horns have any kind of medical properties has earned my eternal hatred

- making mods of endangered species makes me cry
