NOTE: Requires BepinEx ( 5. 4. 23. 4 or 5. 4. 23. 5) to be setup!

---Words of caution---

This mod takes quite a few steps to try and ensure that, even if things go wrong after an update, nothing will be lost.

However - any custom item modded into a game can get lost after an update, so you should always:

1) Back up your save before updating the game

2) Check after loading that the custom pieces are still present in-game before saving, to ensure you don't accidentally lose them!

If you see pink squares where your custom inventories used to be - that's because something got quite badly broken - the pink box is a placeholder that's keeping your items safe, and as soon as I can get the issue fixed - they'll be back like there was never a problem

The mod also includes a (can-be-disabled-or-changed) key combo of Ctrl+L to look for and recover lost inventories. While the containers will have been deleted from a save, in the worst case where the mod is completely broken AND you have resaved a game while broken - the inventories should(tm) still be recoverable with this feature.

Modifies the games buildable objects list to add the Canister (Tiny box), Golden chest, Wardrobe (suit storage) and Safe (this is now available natively) to your build menu.

The inventory sizes for all four options can be configured via the config files, and will update all currently built storage as well. (as of 1. 0. 3)

The Tiny Box features a whole whopping single storage slot, unlocks immediately, and costs an Iron to build. Suitable for storing teddy bears.

The stand-out benefit of this box, however, is the ability to stack it on itself! Build your own teddy tower!

The Golden Chest features a slightly larger-than-regulation 25 slots, unlocks at 25 KTi (half as long as the next 'standard' storage option) and requires Aluminum and Super Alloy to build. It's just like the normal chest, but moar!.

As of 1. 1. 0 - not to be outdone by their smaller brother, the Golden Chest and Standard Blue Chest can now stack as well!

Nameplate included free of charge.

The Wardrobe bosts a generous 8 slots for your storage needs - yes, that's right - a whole 8!

It will become available at 250 GTi (around about the same time you might encounter the wild variety).

It can be yours for just two Iron and an Aluminum

Lastly, the imposing Safe will keep your valuables secure. Imposingly taking up more space than any other option - it sits between the 2nd and 3rd standard storage options at a grand 48 slots.

You can access this behemoth from 45 GTi (again, around about the same time you might encounter the wild variety..) and it only costs a meagre two Iron, one Aluminum and one Super Alloy to build. Never feel unsafe again! (Note, Safe provides no access controls, and no warranty is provided or implied that your valuables will be secure. Valriz Safe Co accepts no liability for your losses. ) .. Lies, it's all lies. The game comes with it's own Miju-Approved Vault and so the Valriz Industries Safestore has been retired from inventory.

Other features:

By popular demand, you can also override the games normal storage options (containers 1, 2 and 3) as well as backpacks (T1 to T7).

New as of 1. 1. 0, you can also override the Destructor and Recycler sizes.

New as of 1. 1. 4, you can also override some .. other stuff.. go check the config file after installing the plugin and running the game so it udpates the config file

If you change these in the config, all in-world storage will be updated. If you want to know what the game's defaults for these are - just check the log - the original values are written out.

Note that changing the config will have no effect at run-time - the changes are applied during game startup.

Scrolling support:

Basic support for oversized inventory scrolling has been added as an opt-in option to version 1. 1. 0 in your configuration settings.

If you want to have big inventories and don't have another inventory managing mod to do it for you - this may be the option you've been waiting for!

If your inventory windows decide to take a walk to the far reaches of the universe, simply closing and re-opening them will either restore sanity, or transport you to wherever they ended up. Good luck!
