They all said something. If that was the case then Fran's shop was shouting. You could find anything from the common ox-eye daisy to rare orchids and the heady scent of perfume when you walked in could almost take you off your feet: if the architecture didn't first. Locals joked that you could put your back out just trying to see the top of the roof. The roof-line just went up and up; towering over the surrounding town like a mushroom sprouting out of the garden; a waterfall of pink tile spilling out of the passing clouds. And the windows! When you were in the shop on a sunny day, beams of sunlight would stream through the ornate arches, dancing amongst the blooms and foliage like will o' the wisp in the marshes. No matter the occasion, Frances would have something to suit your pocket and a visit to the shop could be an adventure in and of itself.
