📋 About This Mod
Approximate Cost: ~$12,305.00 Note: Second version of the Phoenix that is found at Knoebel's Grove after I tried to fix the nausea rating which when implemented in a live park jumped up to ultra extreme. The guests in the park love it, but ideally it would have much lower nausea to replicate the actual coaster. Excitement: 53.9 Intensity: 59.0 Nausea: 52.8 (the lowest I can get it, though the real Phoenix is not nauseating at all) This roller coaster is my attempt at a replica of the Phoenix roller coaster that still runs at Knoebels Grove in Elysburg, Pennsylvania. It was originally designed in 1947 by Herbert Paul Schmeck and was opened in 1948 as "The Rocket" at Playland Park in San Antonio, Texas. It was transported by truck in pieces to Pennsylvania in 1984. Some differences in my replica and the real Phoenix: I am not very good at making coasters, but thanks to seeing an attempt at a replica by user pvtdavid 111000, who made the coaster his own for his park, I felt I owed my childhood coaster an attempt to mimic its parts and, hopefully, let some of you use it in your parks to please the digital guests like I enjoyed it during my childhood. The real Phoenix has a drop of 22m, mine is only 20.99 because I just couldn't get the numbers to line up. The real Phonix reaches 72km/h and mine only reaches 67.66 The real Phoenix has 980m of track and mine only has 756.34. The real Phoenix has a wooden station that I simply don't have the artistic ability to recreate in the game, as well as a tunnel right out of the station. The curves after the hills are tighter in real life and the final stretch of track runs to the left of the station, but this was the best I could do. All of the drops and trademark "jumps" are present, however, and I think it will serve as a faithful replica for anyone who wishes to use it. It uses two 12 car trains, two seats to car. Hope everyone who subsribes enjoys it and I am dedicating this to pvtdavid 111000. I hope you like it my new friend
