The New Bagford Pier

Originally opened in the 1860s, the original West Pier was the premier pier in Bagford until the 1970s when the owners couldn't keep up with maintenance costs, most of the site was closed and left to ruin, with sections eventually collapsing into the sea. Unsurprisingly, the Local Authority have declared the remains of the original structure beyond repair, some controlled demolition work has already been carried out to restore the original Pavillion Hall, if the Pier is to be restored to it's former glory, the old must go to make way for the new! The National Heritage Fund has finally released cash to help us begin rebuilding back out into the English Channel, bigger than before, however they have given conditions which must be met for the release of further funds to rebuild the pier. Scenario: • Have a decoration rating of at least 80% • Have no loan debts • Have an operating profit of at least $3,000. 00 • Have an overall park rating of at least 80%
