Escape From Jötunheim

Escape From Jötunheim is half a coaster and half a dark ride attraction in a Nordic/Vikings theme. As the guests enter the queue line they walk through the mountain and can have a first glimpse of the coaster's track above their heads. Next, they enter the station by behind and can jump into the boats to begin their journey in Jötunheim... It's starts off with a calm visit of a Viking settlement with warriors training for battle. Then, it's time to begin the first ascension of the mountain. The first drop goes directly into the mountain itself, driving the guests into a series of helixes going in and out of the mountain and through waterfalls, to finally drop them in the second part of the scenery part : the raided village. Guests can now witness the brutality of this world before their second ascension, but this time it won't be so gentle... A steep drop follows the cliff face and guests are now going full speed into Jötunheim ! This part provides lateral G-forces and airtime and a final drop into the underground, finishing the journey with a dark tunnel and the fastest drop of the ride. Boats then arrive to a separate station for exit only, which leave them closer to the main path and allows the boats to return empty to the entrance station and avoid immersion breaking for incoming guests.
