📋 About This Mod
Mounted FOV Lock takes possession of the camera fov when mounting and locks it to 70° and releases the override immediately when dismounting. Created primarily to work around the terrain/LOD distortion triggered by Palworld's mounted FOV
Description
What it does: Palworld 1. 0 can switch the final camera FOV to approximately 85° while mounted, even when the player's FOV setting is different. On affected systems this can trigger severe distant-terrain/LOD distortion. MountedFOVLock forces the final mounted camera FOV to 70° and releases the override when dismounting. Previously it polled the game when mounted and constantly fought the game. Now it takes possession of the fov setting while mounted. You can adjust the fov by editing it in the man.lua file.
