Item Catalog

Look up items without leaving Palworld. Browse a native item grid, search by name, and see crafting recipes, technology requirements and where an item comes from.

Using the catalog

Load a world and press F2, or open Options → Item Catalog below Journals. Select an item, switch categories with the tabs or Q/E, and scroll the details panel. Close with F2, the close button or the native cancel action.

  Requirements and installation

  Requires UE4SS Experimental (Palworld). UE4SS is not bundled. Install this mod on the Windows game client.

  Steam: Download the Steam file and extract it into the game directory containing the Pal folder. The Lua mod goes under Pal/Binaries/Win64/UE4SS/Mods/ItemCatalog, and the UI PAK under Pal/Content/Paks/~mods. Keep Scripts/Textures with the scripts and restart Palworld.

  If you use Workshop-managed UE4SS, move the complete ItemCatalog folder to Mods/NativeMods/UE4SS/Mods instead. Use only one Item Catalog installation and do not install a second UE4SS loader.

  PC Game Pass: Download the separate PC Game Pass file. It uses Pal/Binaries/WinGDK/UE4SS/Mods/ItemCatalog and three matching UI files (.pak, .utoc and .ucas) under Pal/Content/Paks/~mods. Install all three together. Package integrity has been checked, but Game Pass gameplay compatibility is not yet confirmed. This is not a console Xbox mod.

  Coverage and limitations

  Loot sources are a bundled game-data snapshot. Other mods, server settings and progression can change what you receive. World Loot does not show percentage chances because lottery weights alone are not per-item drop probabilities. Harvesting and butchering coverage is incomplete.

  World Tree labels describe recorded spawn coverage for the listed level range, not a guaranteed geographical drop restriction. Ranch levels describe production rank. Some source names remain fallbacks. Native item and character names use available localization; custom headings and fallback text are currently English.

  Configuration and removal

  Scripts/config.lua controls the hotkey, essential-item visibility, formatted descriptions and verbose logging. F2 at the main menu opens a portrait preview rather than the full catalog.

  To uninstall, remove only the ItemCatalog folder from your UE4SS Mods directory and its ItemCatalog_UI_P asset files from Pal/Content/Paks/~mods. Preserve UE4SS and other mods, then restart the game.
