Special Mount Slot Special Mount Slot is a lightweight Quality of Life mod that adds a sixth Pal slot to your party — but with a twist: The additional slot can only be occupied by rideable Pals. Instead of simply increasing the party size from 5 to 6 without restrictions, the goal of this mod is to provide some extra flexibility while keeping the additional slot reasonably balanced. You can use the extra slot for: Ground Mounts Flying Mounts Water Mounts Your original five party slots remain unrestricted and work as usual. Why this mod? I wanted the freedom to bring a dedicated mount without having to sacrifice one of the five regular slots in my party. At the same time, simply adding an unrestricted sixth Pal felt too powerful to me. Limiting the additional slot to rideable Pals seemed like a good compromise: More convenience without simply giving the player another unrestricted party member. How the Mount Slot works The sixth slot uses a whitelist of rideable Pal Character IDs. This includes supported: Ground mounts Flying mounts Water mounts Pal variants Alpha variants where applicable Because the mod uses a whitelist, new rideable Pals added in future Palworld updates will not automatically be supported. When Pocketpair adds new mounts, the whitelist will need to be updated before those Pals can use the additional slot. The normal five party slots are not affected by this restriction.
