Species Work Shuffle The wiki lies here. This mod tears up the game's work suitability rulebook and deals a new one. Every vanilla species gets its base work ranks re-rolled from a secret seed: Anubis might be a middling miner, some humble grazer might carry the world's best Handiwork line, and nobody knows until they catch one and look. Every vanilla species' job RANKS are re-dealt (which jobs a species can do never changes - zero stays zero) High ranks stay genuinely rare: the new deal follows vanilla's own rarity shape, with only a handful of rank 7-8 lines in the whole world Alphas and lucky pals are dealt in too - they read their species' alpha row, which is dealt to match Deterministic and identical for everyone running the mod - perfect for servers, everyone shares the same secret rulebook Appetites follow the deal (v1. 1): each species' food demand scales with its dealt work total - your world's gifted species visibly eat like the elites they are, demoted ones become cheap grazers Stacks with Work Suitability Randomizer: this mod re-deals the species baseline, that mod rolls each individual pal up or down from it. Family sets the starting line, the individual decides who stands out. Run both for full chaos. What changes in play: you can't look up "best Handiwork pal" anymore. You find your base workers by catching and checking, and a species everyone ignores might be this rulebook's hidden gem. Notes: the deal applies to your whole world live - old and new pals alike, including alphas and lucky pals. Each pal's personal bonus rolls (from Work Suitability Randomizer) stay its own. Modded species (PalVariety etc.) are untouched and keep their authors' numbers. The shuffle is one fixed secret deal; a future major version may re-deal the world order.
