VC_Merchant Mod 2

===Installation & Compatibility===

This is a Palschema Mod. It requires 6. 0+ Palschema (or latest version) and the experimental UE4SS.

Installation

Installation | PalSchema

Once you got Palschema and Ue4ss set up. The folders simply go inside the

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64\ue4ss\Mods\PalSchema\mods

Fast way to get to folder is use the gear top right on steam Manage> browse local files.

from there you can go into pal>binaries>win64 and drop Ue4ss from the installation github.

Unrelated- If you have a Lua mod (not this one) it just goes in the Ue4ss/mods folder next to the palschema folder.

if you got a pak mod. it goes inside Pal>Content>Pak next to the giant pak file of the game.

Pak mods must have _P at the end of them to work.

Pak mods are responsible for 99% of all crashes you experience starting the game on patch updates. palschema mods are just json data that palschema looks at. if a palschema mod is crashing, its because palschema is likely out of date.

Philosophy- Merchant 2's goal is to build something i genuinely want to play without compromising excessively to make everyone happy. Prices are high but its because I want the game to challenge my ability to produce wealth and expand an empire.

Anyways lets get right into the patch notes.

1- Probably the biggest one. 1. 0 has 25 merchants added to the game. i think there was only 3 caravan merchants prior but now its 25. A mod on nexusmods let me place spawn points for these new merchants and showed me how to add spawns to the map (its crazy nobody is doing this, ah well maybe i'll be the first to add a spawner mod that adds more alphas on the map)

This mod in particular adds 6 of those merchants as customized merchants.

2- New Progression system!

This mod now uses Ruby- Sapphire- Emerald- Diamonds- Giant Pal souls as currency on top of gold, arena tickets, bounty scrolls and of course our lovely Dogcoins.

Ruby- mostly obtainable from dungeon chest- perhaps theres ways to mass farm these that i didn't think of that will break this mod~ oh well. These are part of a 3 tier system all linked together. Ruby Sapphire and Emeralds the dungeon trio.

Diamonds aren't part of it because they can be mass produced from legendary kills and butchering..

The trio is used to buy Accessories ranging from improving QoL ones that merge things together added in 1. 0 to the new powerful batons and accessories
