Hey everyone!

This is the mod rebuilt from the ground up. The previous releases were community patches on top of

the original Blueprint mod, this one is a complete native C++ rewrite. Same idea, none of the old

plumbing: no Blueprint mod, no Lua scripts, no separate .pak to install. One DLL.

❓ What's This?

A map overhaul for Palworld. It shows Lifmunk effigies, lore notes, ancient ruins, dungeons, chests,

eggs, outposts, fruit trees, junk, NPC campfires and every ore type as icons on your world map, with

an in-game settings panel to control all of it.

It descends from the Map Collectables Helper / Map Collectables Mod originally created by miapuffia,

but the runtime is no longer the same software: everything has been rewritten in native C++ against

the game's own systems. That rewrite is what made the features below possible at all.

⭐ What's New In The Native Version

🗺️ In-game settings panel

No more editing config files or restarting. Open the map, hit the options button, and every category

has its own card: master switch, show-on-map, show-on-compass, icon size, compass distance, and

"hide what I've already collected". Changes apply instantly.

Save up to 8 named configurations and switch between them. One for exploring, one for ore runs, one

for effigy hunting. There's a built-in Default to fall back to.

🧭 Compass markers

Collectables now appear on the game's own in-world compass strip, with vanilla arrows, icons and

distance readouts, not a custom overlay. Per-category, with its own distance slider.

📍 3D effigy tracker

An optional world-anchored pin that points at the nearest uncollected effigy within your chosen

range, showing its icon, name and live distance. It follows the target as you walk and turn.

🏛️ Ancient ruins - properly, this time

The old version read a static table of 73 coordinates and tracking was intermittent. This one reads

the 106 live ruin towers directly from the world. All of them, every time, no exploration needed

⛏️ All 9 ores

Coal, Copper, Quartz, Sulfur, Hexolite, Oil, Chromite, Paloxite and Soralite, which were

missing before.

🔍 Icon clustering

Dense areas collapse into a single icon with a count badge that splits back apart as you zoom in.

Adjustable radius, or turn it off entirely.

🌫️ Fog of war controls

Hide the map's fog overlay entirely, or make mod icons respect it the way vanilla icons do. Both are

pure display toggles, your save's explored-area data is never touched.

💬 Better tooltips

Effigy tooltips are drawn by the game's own map-point info panel, the same one you see for

fast-travel points and bosses,
