Expanded Base Radius - Dedicated and selfhosted Servers

Installation instructions

Dedicated server:

1. Stop the server completely.

2-create a new folder in  Steam\steamapps\common\Palworld\Pal\Content\Paks\ 

~mods/3. Copy BaseRadius7000.pak into 

Steam\steamapps\common\Palworld\Pal\Content\Paks\ ~mods\ 3. Remove any previous version of this mod to avoid duplicate asset overrides.

4. Start the server.

Windows client:

1. Close Palworld.

3. Copy Mod into:

Steam\steamapps\common\Palworld\Pal\Content\Paks\3. Start Palworld and connect to the server.

The server file controls the functional radius. Installing the same file on the client expands the visible blue boundary to match the new radius.

Players without the client file may still use the expanded server radius, but they will continue to see the original 35-meter boundary.

Tested on Freakhosting Palword dedicated Server:

Main features

- Expands the functional Palbox radius from 35m to 70m.

- Expands the visible blue base boundary to 70m.

- Supports Linux dedicated servers.

- Uses a single combined .pak for both server and client.

- Newly and existant created bases are supported.

Requirements

- Palworld Steam version v1. 0. 1. 100619.

- The .pak must be installed on the dedicated server.

- Client installation is required only for the matching visual boundary.

- Server and clients should use compatible Palworld versions.

This mod replaces BP_PalGameSetting and BP_BuildObject_PalBoxV2. Palworld updates that modify these assets may require an updated version of the mod.

Compatibility and updates

This release was built and tested for Palworld v1. 0. 1. 100619.

After a Palworld update, temporarily remove the mod and check this page for a compatibility update. Using this file with a newer game version may override official asset changes.

Uninstallation

1. Stop the server and close Palworld.

2. Remove BaseRadius7000_Combined_P.pak from the server and client Paks folders.

3. Restart the server and game.

Removing the mod restores the original 35-meter radius. Buildings previously placed outside that radius may remain, but they may be considered outside the base and Pals may stop working there.
