Coralum Chromite and Hexolite Mining Sites

Find it ridiculous that a game revolving around using Pals to automate everything doesn't let you automate the most annoying endgame stage? This mod adds mining sites for Hexolite Quartz and Chromite, so you no longer have to manually mine it or mess around with Pals that just won't mine Hexolite Cores. Coralum Pits have now been added as requested!

It comes with a few caveats though: mainly taking a long time to mine and takes a toll on Pal's SAN! Fortunately, if you are familiar with JSON files and PalSchema, you can customise this to your liking.

Installation - STEAM:

• []Ensure that PalSchema and UE4SS are correctly installed.

  []Open the main game folder - you should see the folders 'Pal' and 'Engine'

  []Open the downloaded mod files, where you should see only the folder 'Pal'. Drag this folder 'Pal' directly to the game folder you just opened. If you are confused, check the comments for an image.

  []If done correctly, you should now have the folder "Palworld/Pal/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss/Mods/PalSchema/mods/MoreMiningPits/" and the file "MoreMiningPits_P.pak" in the folder "Palworld/Pal/Content/Paks/~mods"

  Gamepass Version Install:

  • []To find your game folder: Open the Xbox App > Go to "Palworld" game page > Click the three dots "..." >

    "Manage" tab > "Files" tab > "Browse" Button to open up your game

    []Follow step 3. from above (drag the folder 'Pal' to your game files; check comments if confused)

    []You should have the files MoreMiningPits.pak, MoreMiningPits.ucas, MoreMiningPits.utoc inside the folder "Pal/Content/Paks/~mods/"

    []You should also have the folder "Pal/Binaries/WinGDK/ue4ss/Mods/PalSchema/mods/MoreMiningPits/"

    To Use:

    • []Reach Level 56/57 and use your technology points to unlock the Chromite/Hexolite mining pits.

      []Reach Level 61 and use your tech points to unlock the Coralum mining pit.

      []Build wherever desired and let your Pals work.

      IMPORTANT - Uninstall:

      If you wish to uninstall the mod for whatever reason (no longer supported, don't like it, etc.), it is CRUCIAL that you:

      • []Deconstruct all buildings from this mod

      • Then fully delete this mod

      If you don't destroy the buildings from this mod, then the world will be unable to load!

      Please provide feedback around mining times, SAN drain, etc. I am also planning to make actual models for the pits but I probably need to learn Blender in my free time.
