Smooth Run

Smooth Run is a comprehensive quality-of-life mod that takes the grindy edges off Pacific Drive without breaking the survival feel. Drive farther, scan faster, repair less, build more.

WHAT'S CHANGED (69 carefully tuned values):

FUEL & DRIVING

- 2x fuel range across all engines (Basic, Speed, SuperTurbo, Electric)

- Faster gas pump refuel

- 50% reduced in-car damage taken (from harsh terrain)

PARTS & DURABILITY

- 1. 5x part durability — 22 tools live longer between repairs

- 4 engines also get 1. 5x HP

- Loot-spawned part health raised

SCANNING & RESEARCH

- 1. 5x faster anomaly scan speed

- 1. 5x scan range (37500 vs 25000 vanilla)

- 2x research point gain on Zone Scanner T2/T3 unlocks

- Anchor charge bonus values doubled

INVENTORY QOL

- AutoStoreVac no longer drains fuel from stored cans

- Tombstone retention 6x longer (no more lost gear from a single death)

- LooseStorage drop timer 3x

POWER FANTASY TUNING

- Tether range +50% (easier vacuum loot pickup)

- Faster healing

- Longer Magic HP duration

What's UNTOUCHED: enemy aggression, anomaly behavior, story progression, scripted events, multiplayer (game is single-player anyway).
