Drive safely in the Zone, Driver!

Announcement of 26 August 2026,

Hi Driver,

I’m a man of my word, so here it is at last:

For those of you who only have the Whispers Edition, I’ve stashed 20 souvenirs in the locker in the back room; I could have put more in, but I didn’t want the game to crash (as I explained a while back)

To thank you all for the support you’ve given me over the past year and for reaching the 500-download milestone, I’ve given my readme file a complete revamp – it’ll look much sleeker :)

Thank you all for joining me on this mad project

The project is finished, but that doesn’t mean I’m leaving the Zone – I’ll be keeping an eye on my finest and biggest first modding project.

Announcement of 23 August 2026,

Sorry if Whispers Edition still hasn’t been released since the last announcement – it’ll soon be a month on, and I apologise for that. I’ve had a lot of unexpected issues that have slowed me down, but normally, if all goes well, it’ll be out this week. I’m doing everything I can to get it out as soon as possible

AND WE’VE JUST PASSED 500 DOWNLOADS – A HUGE THANK YOU TO YOU ALL, I’M REALLY PLEASED

SEE YOU AGAIN THIS WEEK

Witness Me !

We’ve just received some news: the Ford Falcon XB is finally compatible with PacificDriveNG+. Please download the very latest version from Dutch, which is 0. 9. 4 (0. 9. 4D for the DLC). Save files will not work if you are using an earlier version.

Announcement from July 5, 2026

First, I wanted to announce that Pacific Drive New Game+ is celebrating its 1-year anniversary and has surpassed 450 downloads.

Thank you all for this support—I really didn’t expect it. At first, it was a completely crazy idea that I didn’t think would get any attention.

In the end, a year later, I’m surprised to find that I wasn’t the only one with a sort of completely cobbled-together New Game mode—one that isn’t perfect, but which I hope will allow Drivers in the Zone to dive back into story mode with gear for our station wagon.

A few weeks ago, MillenniumGun, a Driver, suggested a New Game Plus for Whispers In The Woods. I enthusiastically accepted his idea and wanted to take the opportunity to completely overhaul my work by adding crafting materials. And to be completely transparent, it was a descent into hell— the game couldn’t handle it, and I experienced a ton of crashes (for those who are curious, I talked about it in the comments section).

After 10 hours of work—and, most importantly, without pushing the game too hard—I’m back with some new content.

Let me clarify a few things

I used one of my first personal saves from Pacific Drive, dating back to version 1. 1. 4, as a reference

Why? I wanted to resume my modded save, but for some unknown reason, I kept experiencing crashes and a drop in FPS—down to 30 FPS at best, or even worse (eve
