Bigger Stacks and Tiny Items

Tired of your pack filling up three scraps into a run? This mod increases stack sizes and shrinks tools and resources in the inventory grid, so you spend less time playing trunk Tetris and more time driving.

What it changes

Stack sizes:

• []Small resources (scrap metal, chemicals...): 20 → 100[/]

  []Large resources: 10 → 100[/]

  []Vacuumable resources: 80 → 800[/]

  []Consumables: 3 → 10[/]

  []Small consumables: 5 → 10[/]

Inventory footprint:

• []Tools: 2x3 → 2x2[/]

  []Thin tools: 1x3 → 1x2[/]

  []Wide tools: 3x2 → 2x2[/]

  []Resources (small, long, and large): down to 1x1[/]

  []Status cures: down to 1x1[/]

Car parts, panels, wheels, and everything else keep their vanilla sizes, so packing the car still matters.

Installation

  Go to your game folder:

  ...\steamapps\common\Pacific Drive\PenDriverPro\Content\Paks\[/]

  Create a folder named

  ~mods

  if it doesn't exist

  Drop the .pak file in it. Done.

To uninstall, delete the .pak. Your save is unaffected either way — items already in your inventory simply reflow to the new sizes.

Important: game version

This mod is built for game version 1. 15. 0 and contains a full copy of that version's config. After a game update it will likely crash the game at launch until a rebuilt version is uploaded — if that happens, just delete the .pak and check back here. This is the same limitation the original mod had.

Compatibility

Not compatible with other mods that edit

DefaultGame.ini(other stack size or item size mods) — only one of them will take effect.

Spiritual successor to Bigger Stacks and Smaller Tools by DrStalker, which was last updated for 1. 8. 2. This version was rebuilt from scratch against the 1. 15. 0 game config — no files from the original mod are redistributed. All credit for the original idea goes to DrStalker.
