Velvet Horizons - Clouds Replacer

🌧The skies felt empty to me...🌧

☁The vanilla clouds just didn’t do it for me, so I took matters into my own hands. I hand-crafted new cloud noise textures to create skies I could actually feel and notice.

🌤This is an early release version — but already a notable upgrade.

🌩KNOWN ISSUES (subjective) That I am currently working on.

• []Clouds may not be reflected properly in water with raytracing.

  []The sun in the sky can appear through clouds during cloudy weather.

  []Ground shadows may appear distorted and low resolution (an issue in vanilla game).

  []Looking up at certain angles (like directly up) will show clouds as low resolution (an issue in vanilla game).

  []Clouds are always in the sky in some form.

  []Just like vanilla, the clouds can appear low resolution. I've managed to mitigate this in the mod, but it's still present. This is due to Oblivion Remastered's way of producing clouds. 4K can help, at the cost of immense performance, however.

  Conflicts with any mods that alter cloud noise textures. None solely as of May 2025, However mods that upscale most game textures run the risk of conflicting with this.
