Vanilla Plus ReShade V1. 2 - ''By The Nine'' is a finishing touch designed to uplift and maintain the intended Remastered style, while correcting image-quality loss from heavy upscaling by exaggerating every ounce of detail on-screen with several clarity enhancements and minor creative additions.

UPDATE V1. 2 (July 13th 2025): Rounded shader values down to nearest 10, cleaned up the config in general, removed redundancies and reuploaded with better performance!

All screenshots were taken at 1080p with almost all settings at "Low" while using FSR Performance Mode AND downscaled 1k textures.

So if you like what you see, expect even better results at 4k, Ultra settings, without upscaling &/or with higher-resolution textures!

- Enhanced Clarity & Sharpness: A series of precision-tuned sharpening effects target both fine and large details, ensuring unparalleled picture quality in every scenario.

- Subtle Occlusion: Adds delicate ambient occlusion to object edges and distant features like mountains, giving a 3D, immersive presence that makes the world feel that little bit more defined.

- Realistic Lighting: Subtle bloom effects mimic how light interacts with the human eye, complemented by a eye-shaped lens flare that only activates only for ultra-bright objects like the sun, windows in dark interiors and other brightly glowing objects.

Important Notes:

- If the preset presents too sharp or noisy on your display, open ReShade and toggle a couple of the sharpening shaders off (e.g; LocalContrastCS). All of them target different 'layers' of detail, you can easily dial them back a little to fit your display or preferences.

Installation:

1. Download and install the latest version of ReShade from reshade.me.

1a. If you're installing JUST for this preset, download the preset's .ini first and then you can select it using the "browse" option at the bottom of the installer to install the necessary shaders only!

1b. If you intend to use other presets you've downloaded too, you can do the same for those.

2. Extract the preset file (.ini) from this mod and place them in your game’s directory HERE: ...\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\
