Unbroken Blade (replacer)

This is my first mod, so please bear with me. This sword was created to give access to a melee option that doesn't trigger Reflect Damage. So no more getting 1shot by Clanfear, Storm Atro, Raven Camoran and various other high physical reflect enemies. The weapon does zero damage, but it can now be enchanted to become a magic beat stick.

It's a simple mod; it replaces the Broken Sword so that it will use the same console command ID. I got bored of playing OP spell casters and am trying to avoid spells altogether. Still, the extreme ramping of reflect damage on Master Difficulty is nearly impossible to bypass without using a Bow or equipping 100% Reflect Damage. I wasn't trying to do either, so I modified this weapon.

Feel free to modify any of the assets in this mod. The changes are minor, likely a 30-second task for any experienced modder, but if they can be helpful for your creativity, then please use them. The only tool I used was xedit, I played around with weapon's weight because I think it was preventing me from enchanting. Not totally sure, but I got it working after about 30 minutes of trial and error.

The weapon has been renamed to Unbroken Blade.

Future Plans:

• []I want to duplicate this stat stick for all weapon types (excluding Bow). I haven't figured out how to change the model of an item. I attempted to create a dagger version, but it appeared invisible in-game, and when equipped, my character would attack with his fists.

  []I am also looking to increase the attack speed. The "speed" value in Xedit appears to modify only the draw speed and has no impact on swinging or attacking speed.

  If I am able to get around these obstacles, I will release optional download files.
