Umbra Remastered

"The blade. It hungers for souls."

This mod adds daedric letters on Umbra including "Oht" which symbolizes the Oblivion realm.

Increased the size to be more daunting almost like a claymore, but faster and deadlier.

All letters glow in the dark so looks super cool in the ruins and forts.

Maintained the magenta vfx color scheme to be cohesive and immersive.

Magenta vfx shows only on the tip of the blade and slightly on the letter "Oht" and "Umbra" letters and at the end of pommel (sigil stone)

to be more believable since there is a magenta light summoned surrounding the blade and it is reflected on your right torso.

In a word, no over "purple" effect on the blade- just right amount to enjoy the sword itself.

How to obtain

Umbra Sword can be obtained during the quest Clavicus Vile, making a wise choice. You can even kill her without fighting if you are smart.

Umbra Sword Lore

The Umbra Sword was enchanted by the ancient witch Naenra Waerr, and its sole purpose was the entrapment of souls. Used in conjunction with a soul gem, the Sword allows the wielder the opportunity to imprison an enemy's soul in the gem. Naenra was executed for her evil creation, but not before she was able to hide the Sword. The Umbra Sword is very choosy when it comes to owners and therefore remains hidden until a worthy one is found.

Conflicts with any mods that change Umbra's meshes, textures, vfx and Blueprint.
