📋 About This Mod
This mod combines a number of different mods from Oldblivion with some of my own dialogue restorations. Overall, this mod restores or reworks a great deal of dialogue that was either left unspoken in the game or spoken so rarely as to be essentially cut content. NPC's now have new dialogue topics, have new things to say to each other in conversations and have different, more sensible conditions for saying certain lines.
These are the mods whose changes are included in this mod:
Dialogue Tweaks and Additions
Disease Dialogue Restored
Imperial Porters - Fighters Guild Rumors Revised
Expanded Greetings Redux
Dialogue Tweaks Fixes and Restorations
No Anachronistic Main Quest Comments
More Generic Dialogue Restored
Lore-Friendly Sera-Muthsera Fix
Martin Dialogue Variety
Two Sides of the Coin Quest Tweaks
NPC Overhaul
I recommend using this with Idle Dialogue Remaster to restore as much dialogue as possible. The dialogue restorations featured in Two Sides of the Coin Quest Tweaks has been included in this mod, but the script and quest changes have been left out. If you like the changes Two Sides of the Coin Quest Tweaks makes, I recommend using it alongside this mod!
All of these mods are either free to use or I have personal permission to use in this mod. If you want to know exactly every detail of what this mod does I would recommend reading the descriptions of each of these mods. But in short:
-Overhauls guard dialogue so guards don't bitch about the captain TO THE CAPTAIN
-When you are wearing the Gray Fox's mask NPC's will always react as if you are the Gray fox EVEN if you are a vampire
-Some legion lines made more accessible
-Skill based greetings are now much more likely to hear
-NPC's greet each other based on skill
-NPC's nasty dialogue to beggars restored (don't you love a little class-based hate in your elder scrolls game)
-Many unused dialogues restored and given to different NPC's where it made sense (See Owyn and Adrian Decianus in the Imperial City)
-Some NPC facial reactions reworked
-Main Quest Comments made to be more fitting to the timing of the quests
-NPC Conversations largely overhauled to be more diverse
-Overhauls fighters guild rumors so they will be heard more frequently
-Pirates sing to each other
-And much MUCH More
This mod is intended to be used with Unofficial Oblivion Remastered Patch but it is not a requirement. This mod requires Oblivion Remastered Script Extender (OBSE64).

Ultimate Dialogue Overhaul is a collaborative mod that reworks much of the game's dialogue to make NPCs more responsive and full of personality. With 96 endorsements and nearly 10,000 downloads, it's a niche but appreciated addition for players seeking more lifelike interactions.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Decent community traction with 96 endorsements and nearly 10k downloads.
- Aims to make NPCs feel more alive, which is a big plus for immersion.
- Collaborative effort from multiple authors likely brings diverse ideas.
⚠️ Cons
- Only 96 endorsements suggests it's not widely tested or may have issues.
- No specific details on which dialogue lines are changed, so you're going in blind.
- Potential compatibility risks with other dialogue mods or quest mods that alter NPC speech.
For players who feel NPC interactions are too stiff and want more personality in conversations. If you're into role-playing and immersion, this could be a nice touch. Skip if you're fine with vanilla dialogue or prefer gameplay-focused mods.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Check if the mod requires a specific game version or DLC, as dialogue overhauls often depend on updated files.
- If you use other dialogue mods, consider load order to avoid conflicts.
- Test in a new save or after a quest to see the changes immediately.
