Transmute Apparel - Learn and Summon Armor and Apparel

This mod introduces a lore-friendly magic system that allows you to sacrifice apparel pieces you find in the world to learn their structure, granting you the ability to conjure them permanently (until dismissed or unequipped). The process requires destruction of the original item, representing your character studying and internalizing its make.

Can be used at any stage during a play through but is especially helpful for new characters where carry space is limited and available armor in the world is still levelling or you cant find the full set but have enough to transmute.

How to use:

As you explore the world and discover new armor, you’ll gain the ability to Transmute these items, transforming physical equipment into knowledge, and unlocking the power to summon that armor set at will.

Upon enabling the mod, you’ll receive three spells: one for transmuting heavy armor, one for light armor, and one for clothing. When you pick up new apparel, simply cast the corresponding Transmute spell. It will scan your inventory for compatible pieces and, if a match is found, prompt you to confirm whether you’d like to dissolve the item, absorbing its essence.

Your Alteration skill influences how much of the armor set you’ll need in order to learn the summoning spell to conjure it. If your skill level is too low or you lack sufficient pieces of the set, transmutation will fail—the items will remain intact in your inventory, and no summoning spell will be granted.

However, if successful, one of each required item (helmet, cuirass, greaves, etc.) will be permanently consumed, and you’ll gain a new Conjuration spell, allowing you to summon the full set whenever needed. Read below "-Apparel Pieces Required to Learn-" for more info on set requirements.

A few configuration options are available as well. To access them, simply equip the Transmute Armor Settings miscellaneous item and exit the menu.
