Soul Transit - Mark and Recall Remastered

DESCRIPTION

This mod adds two variants of Mysticism-based teleportation spells available at Edgar's Discount Spells in the Imperial City Market District:

Soul Transit - Classic and Soul Transit - Linked.

Classic includes two Apprentice-level spells:

• []Soul Anchor - Sets your current location.

  []Soul Return - Returns you to the location marked by Soul Anchor.

  These mimic the traditional "Mark" and "Recall" system from Morrowind, allowing you to set and return from a fixed position at will.

  Linked also includes two Apprentice-level spells but differs in functionality:

  • []Soul Link - First use sets a mark. Second use teleports you to that mark. Third use returns you to where you were before the teleport.

    []Soul Reset - Simply clears the set mark so that your next use of Soul Link will set a new marked location.

    This version is great for dungeons since you can drop into your base and then return to where you were. This could more easily lead to errors with unwise use though, so beware.

    • []The spells are listed as Alteration before buying from Edgar but they are in fact Mysticism spells and are labeled as such in your spell list.

      []Displays a localization error without NL-Tag Remover.

      []Avoid using in restricted zones: quest-specific areas, off-world regions (e.g., Oblivion gates, Shivering Isles), or during scripted events. Misuse can affect save stability.

      INSTALLATION

      Vortex Installation

      • []Go to the FILES tab.

        []Choose "Mod Manager Download."

        Manual Installation

        • []Go to the FILES tab.

          []Download manually.

          []Extract "Soul Anchor Spells.zip" to your game data directory:

          C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data

        • Add the esp's full filename to your "plugins.txt" file, i.e. "Soul Transit - Linked v1. 3.esp"

          To uninstall: remove the .esp file and its line from Plugins.txt. For Vortex, right-click and select "Remove."

          COMPATIBILITY

          As of v1. 3 it is incompatible with other mods that also alter Edgar's spell list, this will be fixed in v1. 4
