Simple Texture Processer

Intro:

A simple tool for texture processing written in Python and Opencv to quickly split and merge multi-channel composite textures in Oblivion Remastered.

Currently supports converting NNR; NNRE; NNRS; NNRM, NNRAO and NNAoO maps to regular normal maps, roughness maps, metallicity maps, etc., and automatically separating/combining maps for different types of maps. Support file name suffix recognition, automatically name the output file according to the selected texture type when separating and compositing textures. No need to manually process the image channels, after the conversion is completed, you can quickly import them into SP, PS and other mapping software to simplify and speed up the workflow.

Usage Guide:

Split Mode:

• []Select Split Textures operation mode

  []Choose texture type (e.g., NNRM)

  []Click Browse to select source file (e.g., Example_NNRM.png)

  []Click "Start Processing"

Merge Mode:

• []Select Merge Textures operation mode

  []Choose target texture type (e.g., NNRAO)

  []Load required maps:

  []Mandatory: N (Normal), R (Roughness)

  []Additional: AO etc., depending on type

  []Click "Start Processing"

  []Output example: Example_NNRAO.png

Notes：

Naming Conventions:

• []Input files must contain correct suffixes (e.g., _N, _R)

  []Output files inherit base names automatically

Image Requirements:

• []PNG format only

  []All merge inputs must have identical dimensions

  []Recommended square resolutions (e.g., 1024x1024)

Safety:

• []Backup original files before processing

  []Confirmation prompt appears for file overwrites
